3. How Does CV7 Collect Your Personal Data?

CV7 may collect your personal data you provide to them through the following channels:

When you fill the Contact Us form specified on the website.
When you contact CV7 through the channels mentioned in the Contact Us section of the website.
When you fill out surveys sent out by CV7.
Any personal data you provide while being partnered with CV7 for business use.

4. Why is Personal Data collected?

CV7 may use the data collected or that you provide on the website itself, including Personal Data for the following reasons:

6. Transfer Of Personal Data

To enable CV7 to provide you enhanced and secured services, we may enter into contract with various third parties from time to time. Such engagement may involve sharing of your Personal Data. To the extent a third party has access to your personal data, we will ask them to treat it at least as protectively as they treat personal data they obtain from their other authorized sources. This obligation is also documented by CV7 in our contracts with the third parties. We do not market or sell your personal data to any third party. We have various partners for storing, securing your personal data, network of marketing agencies, analytics third parties, etc. The third parties CV7 has contracted with are aligned as per purposes stated in this Privacy Policy.

The personal data that we collect from you may be transferred to and stored at locations that may or not be in the region you reside in. Where your personal data has been transferred to any subsidiary and/or to third parties located outside of the region you reside in, the transfer of your personal data is carried out under organizational, contractual, and legal measures and with adequate levels of protection implemented as well as in compliance with any additional local legal requirements for the parties receiving this information to safeguard your personal data.

7. Data Security

CV7 website is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides CV7 with the online platform that allows selling products and services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.

8. Data Retention Policy

CV7 will retain your personal data only for as long as such information is necessary for the purposes it was collected for. The retention period for personal data may also be affected by the requirements of applicable laws. In all cases information may be held for a longer period where there is a legal or regulatory reason to do so (in which case it will be deleted once no longer required for the legal or regulatory purpose) or subject to law, a shorter period where the individual objects to the processing of their personal data. CV7 shall take reasonable steps to destroy or permanently delete personal data that is no longer needed, including that processed by third parties engaged by CV7 from time to time.

You have certain rights with respect to personal data belonging to you collected by CV7 for the purposes mentioned in this Privacy Policy. The rights available to you as depend on the applicable data privacy regulations:

A. Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (India)

If you are a resident of India, then pursuant to the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 you have certain rights concerning the personal data held and processed by CV7.

I. Right to Access Information:

You may ask CV7 to provide suitable privacy notices containing relevant information about the collection and usage of your data. You may also ask CV7 to provide you with a copy of your Personal Data held by them, free of charge, in an electronic format.

II. Right to Correction and Erasure:

You may ask CV7 to correct, update and/or otherwise amend your inaccurate or incomplete personal data held by CV7. You may also ask CV7 to delete all your Personal Data held by CV7.

III. Right of Grievance Redressal:

Our representative shall address any complaint or grievance that is raised by you within a period of 30 days from the date of raising of such complaint or grievance.

B. UK GDPR and EU GDPR

In line with the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), users who are California residents have specific rights concerning their personal data that we gather and process. These rights include:

Upon request verified by CV7, you have the right to your data held by CV7 in a format enabling your transfer or migration of that data to another entity.

IX. Right to Limit Use and Disclosure of Your Sensitive Personal Data:

You have the right to limit CV7’s use of your sensitive Personal Data only as strictly necessary by CV7 to deliver goods and services to you.

X. Right to Opt-In for Minors:

CV7 is required to obtain your opt in consent to sell or share your information if you are a minor under the age of 16. If you decline such consent, CV7 must wait at least 12 months prior to asking you again for consent. If you are a minor under the age of 13, only your parent or guardian may provide such consent.

The most recently published Privacy Notice shall prevail over any of its previous versions. You are encouraged to check this Privacy Notice from time to time to stay informed of any changes.

11. Disclaimer

To protect your privacy, as stated above, we will take the best efforts and adopt the best industry standards of information practice, however you understand that 100% security does not exist over the internet. You are responsible for protecting your personal data and you should not share your login credentials and/or leave your personal devices unattended while you are accessing the Website, etc. The Company does not guarantee, and you should not expect in the event of malware attack or negligence on your part that your Personal Data will remain private.
